WHEN

July 20, 2019

WHERE

Gem Center for the Arts

2417 Bank Drive, Boise, ID

You don't have to live on the Bench to come...but this block party is definitely all about celebrating life on the bench!

If you own a business, contact us! No fee for space (although you might wind up sharing so we can include as many folks as possible).

There will be live music, performances by local theater companies, dance companies, mini yoga classes and dance classes, artists, and all the independently owned bench businesses we can fit!

There will be food available and
the Lounge at the End of the Universe will be offering a nice cool place to get a local, craft beer. The Gem Center for the Arts will be open for touring, for bathroom use, and to offer a kids craft area.

And...all afternoon we will be raffling off prizes from all our vendors.
Email leuboise@gmail for information on snagging a spot for your business!
Event page will be updated with list of vendors and a schedule of performers. Can't wait to see everyone out together, being the awesome community we are!

The Nerds of Poi began in 2015 with Julie "Jewels" Meek, who has been teaching poi spinning and flowarts to Boise community since 2009. The group began as a beginner's teen course with Boise Parks and Recreation, and the poi-puns, antics, and epic "glowy fun time" moments have persisted since, nearly weekly. Recently the Nerds have graduated to playing with fire and performing for the general public. Please come support these amazing, passionate, nerdy, talented young adults! This performance will showcase a sampling of the Nerds' individual soloist skills with LED "pod poi."
