Introduction to Mosaic Art Spring 2020

TIME: 6:30-9:30pm

COST: $125/student + $15 material/supply fee ($140.00 total) including glass, adhesive, substrate, grout, use of tools etc.

This adult beginner/intermediate workshop covers the basics of glass mosaic: the many varieties of glass, material choice, tools, cutting and shaping, jointing, gluing, grouting, finishing, etc. w/ discussions concerning mosaic history, styles, design, layout, and structural aspects. It also includes demonstrations by James, owner of Boise Mosaic Works, who has taught hundreds of students of all ages from all over the world (*instructor info/resume found in bio section of BMW Facebook page,) much individual instruction, lots of studio time, and a great project designed and created by you!
